Update, 9:06 a.m. Tuesday: Police expect to block East North Street, which is Highway F as it leaves the city, to through traffic for an hour or less.
Original: A 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead Tuesday morning after she was ejected from her vehicle during a winter weather-related crash that occurred at 6:47 a.m. Tuesday at East North Street north of West Moreland Boulevard, according Waukesha Capt. Ron Oremus.
The woman was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Oremus. Authorities are not releasing the woman’s identity until after family notification is made.

Another woman was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries while a man was treated on scene and released, according to Oremus.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
“Early indications are that the victim’s vehicle was traveling southbound on East North Street coming into the city and slid into oncoming traffic,” the news release states.
Tuesday’s car crash was the in the city in nearly three years.
