Woman, 2 Children Face Life-Threatening Injuries After Crash

Waukesha police investigating car accident after woman hits tree on East Main Street on Saturday.

A 30-year-old Waukesha woman and her two children are facing life-threatening injuries after the woman's vehicle crashed into a tree at 726 E. Main St. at 10:26 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from Sgt. Jerry Habanek.

Flight For Life transported one child to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin by helicopter. The other child was transported to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin by ambulance and the mother was sent to Froedtert Hospital via ambulance.

The Waukesha Fire Department provided medical treatment at the scene, according to Habanek.

A Waukesha police accident reconstruction specialist and detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division were called in to investigate the crash scene. The investigation is ongoing.
