On Sept. 11, Clark and a friend visited a woman she used to live next to in the 1000 block of Delafield Street and during the visit, the victim noticed Clark admiring her jewelry. They went to Frame Park, but Clark and her friend left early while the victim stayed with her children.

She later went home and found the screen removed from her kitchen window and $1,929 worth of jewelry inside a box was missing.

The next day, police were called to a man’s house in the 400 block of West Park Avenue where the victim said he runs a business from his home and employed Clark. She left during the day and he later noticed $980 was taken out of his wallet.

Clark contacted the man and agreed to give back $500 to him. The victim of the burglary said she would be willing to drop all charges as long as Clark returned all the stolen items.

Clark returned the items to the police station, but after she dropped them off, her grandfather came in with more items he found that were stolen but hadn’t been initially reported by the burglary victim.

She admitted to taking the items with her friend and the $980, but said the victim owed her $480 so she took what she felt was hers.

Clark will make her initial appearance in court May 7.
