Waukesha Woman Faces Charges for Resisting Arrest While Naked

Suspect refused to let officers take her into custody and resisted even after pepper spray was used, according to criminal complaint.

A Waukesha woman who locked herself naked inside a bathroom and was spraying aerosol cans around is facing charges after she refused to let police take her into custody, according to a criminal complaint filed in

According to the criminal complaint,  Jean L. Feagles, 47, locked herself in the bathroom of her apartment in the 300 block of Jackson Court on May 7 and refused to come out. Her daughter told police she wasn’t suicidal, but she was concerned because Feagles was running water for some time and spraying aerosol cans.

An officer knocked on the door, but Feagles shouted incoherently and then slammed to door shut again, the complaint alleges. The officer opened the door slightly and found she was then lying on the floor naked but when he asked her to move so he could open the door, Feagles tried to hold it shut, according to the complaint.
