Woman Charged With 18 Counts of Writing Bad Checks
Waukesha woman wrote 18 bad checks at various Kwik Trip gas stations in July and August, according to criminal complaint.
A Waukesha woman is facing numerous charges after she went around to various businesses in the area and wrote bad checks in July and August, according to a criminal compliant.
Elizabeth R. Zynel, 30, was charged in on Thursday with 18 counts of issuing a worthless check. If convicted, she faces up to 13 ½ years in prison and $180,000 in fines.

Zynel went to various Kwik Trip gas stations, wrote bad checks and presented her identification at each of the transactions. Each of the checks were returned and Zynel was given until Oct. 27 to repay the money she owed, but failed to do so.
She will make her initial appearance in court Nov. 28.
