Waukesha Woman Charged with 5th OWI
Suspect, 48, was allegedly driving drunk through the Ottawa Lake Recreation Area Saturday, according to court records.
A Waukesha woman is facing her fifth operating while intoxicated charge after she was caught driving drunk Saturday through the Ottawa Lake Recreation Area.
Vickie A. Riske, 48, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of fifth offense OWI. If convicted, she faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, a warden saw Riske driving erratically through the recreation area and doing 17 miles per hour in a 10 miles per hour speed zone.

Riske, who was alone at the time, admitted to the warden she had drunk six beers prior to driving. Her blood alcohol level was 0.16 percent at the time of the incident, according to the complaint.
Riske was previously convicted of OWI in 1992, 1994, 2002 and 2004. She’s free from Waukesha County Jail on $1,750 cash bail while awaiting trial.
