Waukesha Teen Charged for Several 2010 Incidents
Suspect allegedly shot out the window of a car, ran from police twice and was involved in an altercation at Horeb Spring Park where weapons may have been involved, according to criminal complaint.
A 17-year-old Waukesha teen is facing multiple charges for several incidents in 2010, in which he is accused of running from police and shooting out a window on a parked car while trying to shoot another juvenile with a BB gun, according to charges filed in
According to the criminal complaint, Jeffery D. Young shot out the window of a parked car with a BB gun in the 700 block of John Street in April 2010 after he got into a verbal argument with another teen who was standing in the lot. Young shot several times at the other teen and missing, but hit the window of the van, causing $300 worth of damage.
In August 2010, Young was involved in another incident at where he and two other men got into an argument with several other men, causing several of them to reach for weapons, according to court records. One of the men Young approached said he grabbed a piece of wood and put it in his pants to appear like a gun when he saw Young and the two other individuals come to the park because they’re part of a different gang, the complaint states.

In September 2010, a Waukesha police officer saw Young and tried to arrest him, but Young was able to outrun him. Young was arrested three days later in the bathroom of a residence in the 1900 block of Madera Street where he had been hiding, according to the complaint.
In October Young was involved in another incident in the 1000 block of Delafield Street when an officer saw a group of people standing around a car and a female striking someone in the back seat of the car and after he got out of his squad car, Young jumped out of the other car and began running, according to the criminal complaint.

The officer chased Young through backyards of residences in the area and other officers were able to set up a perimeter to search for him until Young was arrested near Horeb Spring Park, the complaint states.
Young is charged with one count of disorderly conduct and use of a dangerous weapon, two counts of obstructing an officer, one count of resisting an officer and one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 2 years and 9 months in prison, and $32,000 in fines.
