At 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to after Nicholson refused to leave the area. When they arrived, he approached officers “very animated” and told them they were there for him.

He smelled strongly of marijuana so officers patted him down and found a digital scale with what appeared to be marijuana particles on it and two baggies of hashish. Nicholson then made an excited utterance that it was illegal and he knew it was illegal.

Nicholson told police he had $400 on him, which was given to him by his mother from her tax return. He told officers they were called to the station because he got into an argument with a guy there.

He’s currently free on $500 bail while awaiting trial.
