Waukesha Sex Offender Released from Electronic Monitoring

Man living in Buena Vista Ave. neighborhood no longer on Wisconsin Department of Corrections supervision, judge orders.

A convicted sex offender living in a Waukesha neighborhood is being released from supervision by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections per a Waukesha County Circuit Court order, according to Sgt. John Konkol.

Judge William Domina released 50-year-old Dennis Marth from a mental commitment detention that Marth has been on since 2000. Marth has been living at 1216 Buena Vista Ave. since 2007.

Marth is convicted twice of molesting children, according to a 2007 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article.

Marth unsuccessfully asked the Waukesha County Circuit Court to release him from supervision last summer.

Marth remains on the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry but no longer has to be subject to electronic monitoring or supervision, Konkol said in an e-mail.
