Waukesha Robbery Possibly Linked to Others in Milwaukee Area

Area law enforcement investigating 15 gas station robberies.

The Milwaukee Police Department is searching for a man believed to be the culprit in 15 armed robberies throughout southeastern Wisconsin, including Waukesha.

The suspect is described as a 20- to 25-year-old white male, roughly 140 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. The man was most recently linked to an .

The believes at the Clark gas station, 1436 E. Moreland Blvd., is related to the recent string of robberies.

A silver handgun was displayed during the Waukesha robbery, but no one was injured. The suspect is described as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. The suspect concealed his face and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white tennis shoes

The robberies typically occur between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., and all locations have been close to freeway access. The man is known to be in possession of a semi-automatic handgun and a silver revolver. He fired a shot at one of his offenses in Milwaukee.

The man’s getaway vehicle is described as a 1990 burgundy Chevrolet Caprice, or a dark-colored, mid-size SUV or pickup with a cap.

A Waukesha woman was just closing up shop a few minutes before 9 p.m. Monday at Tobacco Outlet Plus, 11712 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa, when a  walked in, pointed a gun at her and said, “Give me all the money.”

She told police she went to the register and handed over the cash, and the suspect left quickly on foot through the parking lot and out of sight. She locked the doors and called police.
