Waukesha Police Respond to Knife, Axe Calls

But no criteria for arrests were made in either case Sunday night.

The surrounded a home in the 1200 block of Lombardi Way at 7:10 p.m. Sunday after a woman called police stating her husband had threatened to stab another man, with home the woman was staying with.

Police spoke with the couple, who were having marital issues, and determined that the woman had some mental problems, according to the police blotter. The man did not have a knife and denied making any threats.

Meanwhile, a caller reported that her father was supposedly chasing her friend around with an axe at 8:18 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of South Grand Avenue.

Police responded and found no cause to arrest the man. The man had been fearful that two men were going to begin physically fighting while they were visiting his daughter, so he emerged from his bedroom holding a hatchet and ordered them to leave. The daughter called 9-1-1 because she was afraid the men would try to take on her father. The daughter had left the area when police responded, according to the police call log.
