UPDATED: Police, Dispatchers Raise $710 in Polar Plunge

Fundraiser benefited the Special Olympics of Wisconsin.

Members of the participated in the Special Olympics of Wisconsin’s Polar Plunge this weekend at . The officers and dispatchers involved in the plunge splashed into the frozen pond on Sunday to raise money for the Special Olympics.

The Waukesha Police Department has a long-standing relationship with fundraising efforts for the Special Olympics. The team collected $710 in the Polar Plunge, according to Police Officer Niki Nelson.
