Waukesha Police Nab Downtown Burglary Suspect

Waukesha County Sheriff's Department assisted police with stopping the vehicle of suspects in Antique Mall burglary.

A burglary didn't go too well for two people in downtown Waukesha Wednesday evening. Instead of making off with a computer tower and monitor, they are at the Waukesha Police Department while police investigate the burglary, according to a news release from Lt. Ron Oremus.

Police were called to the Antique Mall in the 200 block of Bank Street at 6:14 p.m. Wednesday for the report that a person had broken the glass and stole the computer tower and monitor before leaving in a vehicle, Oremus said.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department stopped the vehicle and police officers arrested the two occupants in the vehicle for the burglary investigation, Oremus said.
