Waukesha Police Make Arrest in Pharmacy Robberies
Police say 24-year-old suspect admitted to his involvement. The Waukesha man is facing many charges in Waukesha County Circuit Court.
The Waukesha Police Department has arrested a 24-year-old Waukesha man in connection with a string of pharmacy robberies in the area, Lt. Ron Oremus said in a news release.
The suspect is being held at the Waukesha County Jail and police are recommending several charges for the man, including three counts of robbery, one count of attempted robbery, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and prescription drugs, and operating a drug house.
The suspect, who is not being identified by Waukesha Patch until he is formally charged, admitted to his involvement in the robberies, Oremus said. ValuCare Pharmacy was robbed in February and on Thursday, Walgreen's Pharmacy on East Sunset Drive was robbed March 24 and Pick βN Save on East Sunset Drive had an attempted robbery on Wednesday.

Police arrested the man after locating a vehicle that matched the description in the most recent robbery at ValuCare, Oremus said.
A gun was implied in the robberies but not displayed, Oremus said, and no one was injured in the incidents.
