Waukesha Police Investigating Possible Co-Sleeping Death of Infant

Two-month-old child died Sunday morning.

An autopsy of a 2-month-old baby is planned for Monday as police are investigating what appears to be a co-sleeping death, Capt. Dennis Angle said.

The police department was called to the 200 block of North Racine Avenue at 7:50 a.m. Sunday. The baby was not breathing and resuscitation efforts were made at the scene, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log.

There are no charges pending, Angle said.

While the baby’s death remains under investigation, it would be the of an infant this year in Waukesha.
