Waukesha Police Investigating Check N Go Robbery

A man with a gun held up a Waukesha business Saturday afternoon.

The Waukesha Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 1:12 p.m. Saturday at Check N Go, 310 W. St. Paul Ave.

A man displayed a semi-automatic style handgun and demanded money from the business, according to a news release from the Waukesha Police Department.

The suspect was described as a male black with a black leather coat, fleece material covering up his nose and mouth, wearing a tan/white knit hat; average build.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled on foot.  Officers made a check of the surrounding area, but did not locate the suspect.  There is no suspect vehicle information is available at this time. 

The victim employee was not physically harmed.
