A Waukesha man paralyzed in a hunting accident 13 year ago is facing charges after police discovered marijuana plants in his home he said he uses for medicinal purposes, states a criminal complaint filed in

According to the criminal complaint, on Aug. 10, police found the plants in Allen L. Neu’s home in the 500 block of McCall Street after a neighbor became concerned about his wellbeing.

The neighbor called police after her son had gone to Neu’s home to see if he could assist Neu with anything, but found the front door open and no one home, the complaint states. Neu, 56, or his wife couldn’t be located, so police entered the house to see if he was OK, but instead found two 3-feet-tall marijuana plants and multiple bags of the drugs around the residence, the complaint alleges.
