Waukesha Police Department Promotes Officer to Detective

Tom Casey’s promotion was approved by the Police & Fire Commission on Monday.

The promoted Police Officer Tom Casey, a 14-year veteran at the department, to detective Tuesday morning.

The promotion was approved by the Police & Fire Commission Monday night.

Waukesha Police Chief Russell Jack described Casey as “the closer” because of his work close cases as a police officer.

“Tom has persevered and has worked very hard to where he is today and to put this detective badge on,” Jack said. “He is going to wear this pride as everyone does here. … Anything worth having is worth working for, and Tom has worked extremely hard for it.”

Hopefully you'll be able to delete some dashcam videos of a police beating too. Good Luck!
