Waukesha Police Beat Firefighters in Basketball Shootout

Despite a fourth quarter comeback by the Waukesha Fire Department, the Waukesha Police Department went home the winners of the fourth annual Waukesha Police vs. Fire basketball game on Friday with a score of 66-64.

In case anyone is counting, that is three wins for the Waukesha Police Department and one win for the Waukesha Fire Department.

The Waukesha Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association has hosted the game each year as a fundraiser. A portion of this year's proceeds will be donated to the Burn Victim Camp at Camp Timberlee. The other portion of the donations will benefit Brookfield Police Lt. Tom Vento, who is facing a rare and deadly cancer.
