Prostitution Sting By Waukesha Police Nets Arrest of Milwaukee Woman

Letecia L. Espinosa, 25, is accused of meeting up with an undercover detective and an informant for a three-way and to deliver cocaine, according to a criminal complaint.

A Milwaukee woman whose online advertisement stated she was “a thick female looking to play with older men” and was “looking to fulfill your fantasies and fetishes and will leave with a smile and will want you coming back for more” was charged with prostitution Thursday in Waukesha County Circuit Court, according to a criminal complaint.

Letecia L. Espinosa, 25, was also charged with delivering cocaine. She faces up to 8-1/4 years in prison if convicted of the felony and misdemeanor charges.

According to the complaint:

Waukesha Police detectives working undercover with a female informant responded to an ad on backpage.com featuring an escort named “Alexia.” Authorities later identified the woman as Espinosa.

A male detective was texting Espinosa and said he wanted Alexis to join him and his girlfriend on his birthday for a sexual encounter. He also asked if she had heroin she could sell him, but she said she only sold cocaine.

The detective told the woman he would pay her $200 for the sex and $200 for the cocaine. They met at a Waukesha bar on Nov. 14 where they spoke about their plans for the sexual content.

As they were leaving the bar, other detectives took Espinosa into custody. When she was interviewed by police, she told them she need money for the holiday season and prostitution was just one of her “hustles.” The cocaine weighed in at 2.8 grams.

Espinosa’s first court appearance is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. Jan. 28.

Stuff like this makes me laugh! lol only reason > is cuz 1) dumbasses just not knowing their surroundings & 2) some pissed off customer ratted her out otherwise theyd not have known. that's how most are caught > pissed caught snitches.

I am surprised she was not living on Jackson Court or on the south end of Grand Avenue. Wat's sup.

I doubt they were only tipped off by an angry customer, they just went on backpage.com and started calling the (many!) girls putting up their very graphic ads every single day, that any idiot knows are for prostitution. Guess that also tells us that these cops don't have much better to do with their time either, other than stopping this "horrible" crime!

Or on Cambridge Ave. Cause that's where most of the bad people live.

or maybe it was a meeting on Crack Court... yup funny story, such a big crime, thanks for making Waukesha safe.. just these stories show that the police aren't really doing more for the city, but making Milwaukee come into the town. Like enough of the town says, way too many outsiders already in the town :P

Michelle, Just what do you mean bad people live on Cambridge Ave.? I lived there and I am not a BAD PERSON!!! As far as I know other people that live there are not BAD PEOPLE. Maybe there are a few in the apartment buildings (very few).

Carl and Michele: people like you (bigots) make me ashamed of my race. Yep, just like you, I assumed something about someone I don't know. For some people, Jackson court and other "bad" neighborhoods are all they can get after being homeless. You have no idea what is going on in Waukesha. You only think you're safe because you live in a "nice" area. That's what the folks in Newton thought, too. Please considwr having a little compassion for those less fortunate

Nobody commenting on Patch is "doing anything for anyone". We're Waukeshanians talking about Waukesha. Michelle is right. Cambridge apartments are where you can find a surplus of drug dealers and not so nice people. Obviously she's not saying EVERYONE THERE is "bad people". But the truth is, there are a lot of less than honest people there. Same with Jackson Ct. and "the hood" on the south side of Waukesha down by the 24 hour walmart. If you're so sheltered that you don't know that these parts are where you can easily find trouble, be grateful you're a sheltered little thang. Some of us have to live in these places because we're not rich (yet). No need to get your panties in a twist.

What a waste of money. With all of the property crimes occurring in Waukesha why are our public servants worried about consensual adult sex. Love to see what this "sting" operation cost the taxpayers while X amount of GPS units were stolen. Every year I mail out my property taxes knowing this Tom-foolery is occurring. Keep the peace and do nothing more WPD.

Ha! I especially love the part about the cop telling her he was trying to set up a 3 way with his girlfriend!! I bet he's been bugging his ugly wife to finally try that for years!!! On another note, I am also SOOOO GLAD that they are able to assign multiple detectives to troll the internet to stop dangerous criminals like this woman!!! Oh and they were able to work in another totally meaningless victory in the never-ending and completely failing "War on Drugs" too! How can this cop, a grown man, probably college-educated, possibly be even the least bit proud of his career and life? His life's work is adding up to him being an internet troll, spending hours of work time on the government payroll, all to make an arrest that accomplishes NOTHING! Prostitution will continue on like nothing ever happened and the War on Drugs will just pass another day being a complete disaster, just like when they tried the prohibition of alcohol in the 1920's. The only thing the War on Drugs is successful at is making so many criminals so much money!!!! The whole thing is STUPID!!!!

Having mailed off my property tax payment a few weeks ago, it sickens me that our city "officials" decide to spend our money on this absurdity. I'm sick of it at every level of government. Milwaukee police chief is likely guilty of a felony for slutting around on his wife yet no charges. How about we nab him next time he's in the city. Well...we don't arrest felons who wear metal on their shirt in this neck of the woods. I wish the cops would understand their job is no longer noble. What is the percentage of victimless crimes vs. crimes with victims. You're now an occupying force. Please don't talk to me, you're not my hero.

Don't Worry the good police of Waukesha. Also continue to keep our streets safe by arresting kids on bikes and skateboards for riding on the sidewalk.
