Waukesha Police Arrest Gang Member After Wife Fears He'd Shoot Her

Indiana couple started arguing at restaurant and escalated at hotel.

An Asian gang member was arrested Saturday night his wife frantically called the because she feared he was going to shoot her, according to a news release from the department.

The couple, who are from Indiana, had gotten into an argument at a local restaurant. The argument escalated when they returned to the hotel in the 2500 block of Plaza Court. The woman stayed in the van with her six children when the man went inside the hotel, according to the news release

The woman contacted police at 9:09 p.m. Saturday because she was afraid he was getting his gun to shoot her. Police escorted the woman and her children to safety, as well as evacuating nearby rooms. The 32-year-old man was ordered out of the room and he was arrested.

The man surrendered his 45-caliber gun to police, according to the news release. He faces recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse charges.
