The Waukesha Police Department has arrested a 24-year-old man, who was staying with a relative in the downtown Waukesha area, for the armed robbery of the Fox River Mart, 279 W. Main St., that occurred at 4:34 p.m. Tuesday, Lt. Ron Oremus said in a news release.

The suspect is accused of displaying a knife and stole money from the cash register. No one was injured in the incident, according to police.

Police officers and detectives developed a lead through their investigative efforts to arrest the suspect without incident Wednesday night, Oremus said.
