Waukesha Mother Injured in Crash Had Suspended License, Police Say

Accident investigation continues after mother and her two children were seriously injured in a car accident on Saturday.

A 30-year-old Waukesha mother, who crashed into a tree on Saturday and injured herself and her two children, was not supposed to be driving at all, according to the Waukesha Police Department.

The woman is being cited for operating while supsended and failure to have control, according to Sgt. Jerry Habanek. Waukesha police are waiting for blood results to determine if controlled substances were a factor in the crash, according to Habanek.

The mother, Stephanie Roark, and her two children, Β Aidan Rivera, 7, and Riley Rivera, 4, were hospitalized after the crash with life threatening injuries. Injury updates were not available Wednesday, according to Habanek, but Riley was listed in good condition on Monday while Aidan was in serious condition and Roark was in critical condition.
