Police were called to Riddiough’s home in the 200 block of South West Avenue on Thursday morning for reports of a domestic disturbance in progress. When they arrived Riddiough was at the door and his niece pulled up in a car.

The officer then went to talk with the woman in the car, when he saw Riddiough come out of rear of the house, grab a snow shovel and toss it down the driveway past the officer and the woman. He was then told he was under arrest, but Riddiough gave the officer a blank stare and ignored commands.
