Waukesha Man Shoots Dead Tree, Faces Charges

A resident of a North Prairie home was upset after suspect shoots the tree while showing off his new Glock, according to criminal complaint.

A 29-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he decided to show off his new Glock .40 caliber pistol to a friend behind his North Prairie residence by shooting a dead tree several times, according to a criminal complaint filed

According to the criminal complaint, Robert W. Noble went to his friend’s home Saturday afternoon before they were supposed to head to a shooting range. That’s when authorities allege Noble wanted to show off the gun and shot the dead tree twice.

The brother of one of the residents of the home was upset with Noble for shooting the gun and called police, the complaint states.

Noble is charged with one count of discharging a firearm within 100 yards of a residence and faces up to nine months in prison if convicted.
