Waukesha Man Charged with Yelling at People, Tipping Over Flower Pots

Criminal complaint says suspect was drinking MD 20/20 and causing a scene.

A Waukesha man was charged with disorderly conduct in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday for allegedly yelling at people in downtown Waukesha while drinking a bottle of strawberry-kiwi Mad Dog 20/20.

According to the criminal complaint, Douglas L. McClelland, 52, was walking around downtown Waukesha Oct. 16 and yelling and whistling at people while drinking the Mad Dog wine. He then started tipping over flower pots looking for cigarettes.

A man in the area took the bottle of wine from McClelland, who then proceeded to yell at him until officers arrived.

If convicted, McClelland could face up to 90 days in prison and $1,000 in fines.
