Waukesha Man Charged for June Burglary
Suspect, 22, is also connected with an attempted burglary of Norcomm Inc. in May, court documents allege.
A Waukesha man was charged in Thursday for allegedly burglarizing a home and trying to break into an area business.
According to the criminal complaint, Gary J. Render, 22, broke into a residence in the 800 block of South University Drive on June 2, and took an Xbox, Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation, laptop computer digital camera and jewelry. Police found Render’s fingerprints at the scene and began looking for him.
While conducting the investigation, police also found Render’s fingerprints were discovered at an attempted burglary May 29 of Norcomm Inc., 426 E. North St., the complaint states.

Render is charged with one count of burglary and one count of attempted burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 18 years and nine months in prison, and $37,500 in fines.
