On Sept. 2, the deputy spotted Burr driving 50 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour speed zone in Eagle and tried pull him over. Burr initially refused to stop, but then pulled over.

Burr exited the truck he was driving through the tailgate area and tried to retrieve something out of the bed of the truck, which the officer thought could’ve been a weapon, so the officer drew a weapon on him and told Burr to lay on the ground.
