Waukesha Man Caught Selling Pills to Police

Suspect told police he needed the money to buy Christmas presents, according to the criminal complaint.

A 41-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he allegedly sold prescription pills to undercover police on three different occasions, according to a criminal complaint.

Walter E. Huebner was charged in on Friday with two counts of delivery of narcotics and one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place. If convicted, he faces up to 48 ½ years in prison and $160,000 in fines.

On Oct. 26 a police informant set up a drug deal with Huebner who agreed to sell $100 worth of methadone tablets to an undercover police officer in the parking lot of an area business. The deal was succesful and they set up another deal the next day where Huebner agreed to sell 20 methadone tablets to the undercover officer and discussed the possibility of Huebner selling Oxycodone pills in the future.

On Nov. 17, Huebner agreed to meet and sell Oxycodone to the undercover officer yet again. During the deal, he told the officer he was just trying to sell a few to people so he would have money for Christmas presents.

Huebner will make his initial appearance in court March 12.
