Waukesha Man Caught in Milwaukee With Heroin

Bicycle police officers on patrol spot a man holding up a bag of marijuana inside a car, which leads to charges against a Waukesha man, according to a criminal complaint.

A 24-year-old Waukesha man is facing felony charges after he was caught with two bindles of heroin on the north side of Milwaukee.

Anthony T. Ripley was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of possession of narcotic drugs. If convicted, he faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

At 6:28 p.m. Wednesday, several Milwaukee police officers on bicycle patrol went by a gas station in the 3100 block of West Fond Du Lac Avenue where they spotted a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a car holding a bag of marijuana. Ripley was standing outside of the car and going through a duffel bag when an officer noticed him conceal a plastic baggie under his wallet, which was sitting on the seat.

The officers searched the baggie and discovered it had two bindles of heroin inside.

Ripley is currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail.
