The victim contacted police in December to report she had been sexually assaulted in 2008 by Lufter when she was 9 years old. She said Lufter began to touch her and then eventually exposed his genitals.
The victim’s mother told police she stopped letting Lufter babysit the child after she saw him rubbing her back and the victim appeared uncomfortable.
