Limited information available about emergency that shut down Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department’s phone system is down due to an emergency, according to Patch’s media partners Fox 6.
All 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls are being re-routed to the Waukesha County Communications Center. The two communication centers work as backups for each other in case of emergencies.
