VIDEO: Waukesha Cops Jump off Building

No worries, the police officers did not get hurt during Over the Edge in downtown Milwaukee.

Despite joking that he wasn’t sure if it was a good thing or not that he was picked to jump off the edge of a 17-story building in downtown Milwaukee, Lt. Kevin Kober was a good sport Friday afternoon, put aside his fear of heights and scaled down the building as fast as he could.

Kober, who works in the Criminal Investigation Division at the , was joined by Police Officer Niki Nelson in the Over the Edge fundraiser for Special Olympics.

The three shifts at the police department competed to select the supervisor of their choice at the police station to go off the edge in the fundraiser. Police Chief Russell Jack, a Minnesota Vikings fan, was off limits because he had rappelled for the cause last year while wearing a Green Bay Packers jersey.
