Ugly Baby, Nude Pictures and Alaskan Government Among Weekend Police Calls

Waukesha Police Department calls from July 11 through July 14.

It was a busy weekend for the Waukesha Police Department with fireworks calls and reports of people sleeping in the park while catching some rays from the sun.

But there were some large-scale calls, including a bouncer getting stabbed at The Salty Toad, a domestic disturbance involving a box cutter, and a gun being pulled during a parking lot altercation.

Here are more items – including a baby being called ugly, a woman being requested to share naked pictures, and a woman's fear of the Russian mafia and Alaskan government – from the Waukesha Police Department’s call log:

  • Bleach was placed into a gas tank at 7:23 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • A sword was located above a gym locker after an anonymous person reported that a maintenance man had verbally threatened to kill someone at 10:04 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of West Moreland Boulevard. Police responded and found no problems at the business but an incident report was filed.
  • An arrest was made after a motorcycle was hit at 12:25 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of West Main Street.
  • A woman, who appeared to have mental problems, asked for the tactical unit to arrest two people who were stealing from her at 2:57 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of East College Avenue. Police learned she thought her prescription medication was stolen but they had no way to verify the theft.
  • A person was arrested at 4:09 p.m. Thursday after a reckless vehicle was reported at Arcadian Avenue and Highway 164.
  • A theft of an antique mirror was reported at 5:16 p.m. Thursday from the 2000 block of Madera Street.
  • A cooking fire was extinguished at 5:45 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant after a passerby reported suspicious activity at 8:06 p.m. Thursday at Horeb Springs Park.
  • Two teenage girls reportedly told another person that her baby was ugly and smelled like (expletive). The incident was documented only at 8:16 p.m. Thursday.
  • A person reported he was being yelled at by a neighbor while he and his children were looking for fireflies on the property owned by their landlord in the 500 block of Glenwood Drive. Police mediated the situation at 9:31 p.m. Friday.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:21 a.m. Friday at Delafield Street and Buena Vista Avenue.
  • A woman told police at 3:52 a.m. Friday that she had exchanged numbers with an unknown man she met on a website. The woman was worried because the person was asking her to send nude pictures and told her he knew where she lived. The woman was unable to tell police through which website she met the man. She wanted the incident documented but no police intervention.
  • A theft was reported at Walmart at 11:47 a.m. Friday.
  • A person was taken into custody for going door-to-doo for selling coupons at 12:58 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Aurora Street. Although the business was legitimate, the employee did not have a solicitor’s permit.
  • An arrest was made after an employee theft was reported at 4:45 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Silvernail Road.
  • A passport, title, Xbox, flat-screen TV and a welding mask were stolen from a vehicle at 5:57 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Poplar Drive.
  • A bike was stolen from an open garage at 6:28 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Burr Oak Boulevard.
  • A woman, who was not making any sense, reported she had a gash in the back of her head that was caused by a laser at 11:43 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of East Main Street. She told police she wasn’t sure how long she had been in Waukesha after she took a bus from Milwaukee to Waukesha to look for a job. The Waukesha Fire Department attended to the woman and transported her to Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 11:46 p.m. Friday at West Moreland Boulevard and Delafield Street.
  • An arrest was made after a domestic-related incident was reported following a loud birthday party at 1:05 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Elder Street.
  • An arrest was made at 1:27 a.m. Saturday after it was reported two men were carrying a construction barrel near Barstow Street and Broadway.
  • A woman was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after a verbal fight was reported at 3:34 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Swartz Drive.
  • A vehicle reportedly hit a person at 9:40 a.m. Saturday inside a car wash in the 2200 block of Silvernail Road.
  • A man reported that his neighbor is dealing marijuana and blows marijuana smoke into the neighbor’s 1-year-old child’s face to get the child high at 11:02 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road. An incident report was filed on the matter.
  • A woman apparently fabricated a burglary complaint at 3:12 p.m. Saturday because she feared the Russian mafia and the Alaskan government was after her and purposefully dividing her sisters.
  • A man was reportedly exposing himself via a window in the 2400 block of Pebble Valley Road at 8:27 p.m. Saturday. The man denied the allegations. The manager of the property was given information about evictions.
  • A stolen purse was reported at 9:38 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A noise complaint was made at 10:50 p.m. Saturday over five men playing basketball in the 300 block of Hyde Park Avenue.
  • A woman was arrested at 10:54 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A person was cited for noise at 11:32 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of North Moreland Boulevard after a verbal argument occurred.
  • Tires were slashed at 11:51 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after a fight involving a gun was reported at 2:14 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of South Grand Avenue. Waukesha police learned that no one actually saw a gun or heard a gun fired.
  • People with metal detectors searching for coins and jewelry in Cutler Park were reportedly digging up Indian mounds in the park. Nothing was damaged in the park and the mounds were not dug up, but the couple left because they were upset over the complaint made against them at 12:58 p.m. Sunday.
  • A person reported finding a woman doubled over in a yard at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Milwaukee Street. Police responded and learned the woman had been sitting in a lawn chair and then went inside her home.
  • An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported at 5:11 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 6:58 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported at 6:58 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of West Dunbar Avenue.
  • A driver was arrested after a man had parked in the 1800 block of Erin Lane at 7:42 p.m. Sunday and apparently had slurred speech and was staggering in the area.
  • A 17-year-old man arrived at the emergency room seeking treatment for an insect bite at 10:13 p.m. Sunday. Police were called after the xray showed a small pellet inside the wound.
