Complaint: Teens Smoke Fake Pot, Break into Cars

Town of Waukesha men are charged with theft from August break ins.

Two Town of Waukesha teens are facing charges after they stole an SUV and other items while breaking into cars in Waukesha, Vernon and Mukwonago, according to a criminal complaint filed in

Anthony M Goodlad, 19, and Tyler Miszewski, 19, were charged Thursday with six total theft charges after they were caught Aug. 10 while trying to break into a Scion in Mukwonago.

According to the criminal complaint:

At 3 a.m. Aug. 10, a man living in the 700 block of Meadowview Lane in Mukwonago noticed Goodlad and Miszewski inside of his Scion stealing items. He then chased them but tripped. The two suspects continued to run.

He called police and officers were able to track them down shortly afterwards.

After inspecting the teens’ vehicle, officers noticed numerous iPods and cell phones that had been stolen out of cars and a debit card listed to a man who had his Ford Edge stolen.

The suspects admitted to the thefts, which they said occurred after they were drinking and smoking synthetic marijuana.
