Two Men Charged with Beating Up People, Officers in Downtown Waukesha

Suspects allegedly began hitting people after being kicked out of Discount Liquor.

Two men are facing charges after they allegedly went through downtown Waukesha and beat up random people and police officers.

Edwin A. Feliciano, 17, of Waukesha, and Orlando Torres, 35, of Milwaukee, face eight combined charges for beating up people who were walking in the downtown area. If convicted, Feliciano faces more than 16 years in prison and Torres faces up to three years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, on Tuesday officers were called to Discount Liquor after Torres and Feliciano were being loud and causing a disturbance in the store. Once they left the store, the two men went outside and began to hit a man five or six times in the face.

The suspects then went over to another man and they began to punch him in the save several times. A third victim who had been walking down Barstow Street was then attacked by the two suspects, the complaint alleges.

An officer who saw them attack the third victim went after the two men, the complaint states, however, Feliciano punched the officer in the face. Another officer who closed in on Feliciano was then struck in the face and Feliciano then shouted he was going to “kill” them.
