According to the criminal complaint:

On Feb. 21,  Schulthess drove Ward to Milwaukee to purchase from Ward’s source, Gallion, who also goes as “Little C,” near North 35 Street and Park Hill. Schulthess drove to a parking lot near 35th and Wisconsin Avenue where he shot up the drug and began to drive away, but soon passed out.

Ward tried to wake Schulthess up but was unsuccessful. He called a friend for Narcan – a drug that can prevent fatal overdoses. The friend said they didn’t have any Narcan, so Ward pushed Schulthess out of the driver’s seat and drove him back to his residence in Waukesha, where police found him laying in a driveway outside of the car.

On Feb. 29, Ward agreed to do a controlled heroin purchase from Gallion in Milwaukee. The deal was completed and Gallion was arrested shortly afterward.

Ward and Gallion could each face up to 40 years in prison is convicted of the charges. They will appear again in court June 4.
