Tires Slashed Over Drug Debt; Other Waukesha Police Calls

The following calls were recently reported to the Waukesha Police Department:

  • A person had tires slashed in the 700 block of East College Avenue at 10:19 a.m. Friday presumably over a $200 drug debt. No complaint was filed.
  • A woman reported finding a wooden duck on her porch, and then the next day finding a yellow bag with human hair. The woman told police at 2:42 p.m. Friday that she was a hairdresser and she was unsure if a prank was being pulled on her.
  • A woman in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue reported getting 23 harassing phone calls from an unknown man asking for money and threatening to kill her. Police attempted to call him back, but all the numbers provided were disconnected.
  • A woman was cited for the misuse of 911 after she called police saying she thought her boyfriend was going to set her on fire at 4:40 p.m. Friday. The woman was voluntarily admitted to Waukesha County Mental Health. The woman had called police several times earlier and she had been warned about calling 911 then.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 9:21 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road.
  • A drunk man walked into a house with blood on his hands, but took off running before police arrived at 11:20 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Lake Street. The caller did not see any weapons, but reported the man was mumbling like he was nervous. Police canvassed the area and didn’t not find him. However, the caller did not want to press charges.
  • A person was arrested at 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Main Street after it was reported a man was intoxicated and pounding on windows.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:39 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of East Main Street.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported at 5:07 a.m. Saturday that he was refusing to get up and leave the homeless shelter in the 1700 block of Northview Road.
  • Middle school students were reportedly yelling racial slurs at high school students at 1:31 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Maitland Drive.
  • A caller near White Rock and Perkins avenues reported a 10-year-old boy appeared to be uncomfortable while talking to man in his 50s at 7:13 p.m. Saturday.
  • An intoxicated man was taken by ambulance to the hospital after he fell in the 300 block of West Main Street at 10:19 p.m. Saturday. The man originally was unconscious and was bleeding from the ears. While police were responding, the man’s friend became aggressive and started fighting people.
  • A narcotics violation was reported after an unattended fire was found at 12:22 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 12:51 a.m. Sunday after a domestic disturbance was reported in the 1200 block of The Strand.
  • A person, who said he had the flu, was arrested on a warrant at 12:02 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road.
  • The theft of a lawnmower was reported at 3:51 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of West College Avenue.
  • A juvenile hit a TV that was on the side of the road with a football at 6:21 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Dixie Drive.
  • A man reportedly urinated in the 300 block of West Main Street at 11:39 p.m. Sunday.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:04 a.m. Monday at Madison Street and South Moreland Boulevard. The person has a previous OWI arrest pending.
