‘The Crimson Streak’ Threatens to Tag Goodwill

Goodwill management believes letter writer was a former employee.

Goodwill management called police at 3:21 p.m. Monday to report they found a threatening letter from a former employee threatening vengeance because Goodwill fired him for theft earlier this month, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log.

According to the log:

The letter stated that the man was going to spray paint the store at 2015 Meadow Lane and “make it look bad.”

The letter was signed from “The Crimson Streak.”

Although it was not signed by the man who was terminated, the employees at Goodwill were certain it matched the terminated man’s handwriting.

The man was warned to not return to the property when he was terminated. The store had surveillance footage but it was hard to make out who delivered the note to Goodwill. Goodwill just wanted the issue as a matter of record and did not file a complaint.

Police noted that the suspect collects ninja swords and other ninja-like weapons.
