UPDATE: Missing Teen Found in Waukesha

Sarah Ford, 17, of the Town of Genesee, was missing since Tuesday. Family members are concerned that she won't be able to care for herself.

A missing 17-year-old Town of Genesee girl was found after an anonymous tip was given to dispatchers that she was at an addresses on West Newhall Avenue.

The Waukesha Police Department and the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Departmenter dispatched to the location at 8:45 p.m. Thursday. They found the girl and confirmed it was Sarah Ford, who was missing since Tuesday. She was last seen in Waukesha.

Ford's family was offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts, according to a news release from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.

“Family members are concerned that she may not be able to care for herself,” the release states. The family told Fox 6 that Ford is developmentally disabled.

Ford is 5-feet 8-inches tall and 165 pounds. She has brown hair and brown/hazel eyes. She was last wearing a blue sweatshirt and pink sweatpants. She may also be wearing a T-shirt with blue and pink hearts and red sweatpants.

Ford has no contacts in the area and places where she could have been were checked with negative results, the release states.
