Teen Hit by Car Near Waukesha North

Injuries were non-life threatening after teen ran into road from between two parked cars, according to police.

A 15-year-old pedestrian was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle near at 2:49 p.m. Tuesday, according to Lt. Dan Baumann.

The preliminary reports indicate the 15-year-old ran out onto Michigan Avenue from between two parked cars, according to Bauman. The driver of the vehicle was also a teenager.

The accident is under investigation.
