Marquee J. Haynes, 17, was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of repeated sexual assault of a child and one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child. If convicted, he faces up to 50 years in prison and $200,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, Sturtevant police officers interviewed a 15-year-old girl who said she’s 20 weeks pregnant for a second time with Haynes’ child. Their first baby was concieved, she said, when she was just 13 years old. Haynes told officers he didn’t know the girl’s age when he first got her pregnant, but he did give her chlamydia.
A 16-year-old girl was also interviewed by officers. They reported that she said she had sex with Haynes on multiple occasions when she was 14 years old. She said she also contacted Chlamydia from the encounters, but did not get pregnant.
