Suspended City Employee Arrested; Fights; Domestic Disturbances

Waukesha Police Department calls from March 22 through March 26.

A suspended city employee was arrested after it was reported he was on city garage property at 300 Sentry Drive after he was ordered to not be on the property at 3:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Waukesha Police Department's call log.

The Waukesha Freeman is reporting three city employees are on administrative leave while the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is conducting a theft investigation.

Friday

  • Medication was stolen from a lockbox at 7:18 a.m. in the 800 block of North East Avenue.
  • A theft of windshield wipers was reported at 8:24 a.m. in the 200 block of North Prairie Avenue.
  • An arrest was made at 2:47 p.m. after a domestic disturbance was reported in the 2200 block of Norton Avenue.
  • A theft of a plow was reported at 4:19 p.m. in the 700 block of North Moreland Boulevard.
  • An arrest was made after two knives were found in the fifth grade hallway at 4:34 p.m. at Hadfield Elementary School.
  • Three juvenile boys were reportedly jumping into traffic at 4:43 p.m. at Kensington Drive and South Moreland Boulevard. They also were carrying car tires.
  • One person was arrested after a two-car accident was reported in the 1000 block of Northview Road at 5:17 p.m. No injuries were reported.
  • A person was reportedly smoking marijuana at 9:08 p.m. in the 300 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A patio table and pots were reportedly missing from the 1900 block of Chapman Drive at 9:29 p.m. No complaint was desired.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported a woman was going to drive after being intoxicated and “slobbering around all night in the 700 block of North Grandview Boulevard at 11:13 p.m.

Saturday

  • A person who passed out at a bar in the 300 block of West Main Street was arrested at 12:06 a.m. The man previously had been disorderly at a bar in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A window was smashed on a vehicle at 1:06 a.m. in the 100 block of Beechwood Avenue.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 10:03 a.m. in the 200 block of Mountain Avenue.
  • A theft of a purse was reported at 2:23 p.m. in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 8:46 p.m. during a traffic stop in the 400 block of Jackson Court.

Sunday

  • A person was cited for a nuisance violation at 3:34 a.m. in the 100 block of Third Street.
  • A woman was reportedly getting out of control with staff at Sienna House, 1519 Summit Ave. The woman and her children stayed at a hotel for the evening.
  • A woman in the 800 block of North East Avenue reported she believed her daughter stole her prescription medication.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 12:22 p.m. in the 200 block of Hinman Avenue.
  • Two people were arrested at Walmart at 1:33 p.m. after a woman with a maroon mohawk passed out after possibly huffing. She was with a gothic-looking man and when they left Walmart, the door alert sounded.
  • A 16-year-old girl received a neck injury when a car accident was reported at 2:58 p.m. in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • An arrest was made after a disturbance was reported in the 500 block of Bluemound Road at 4:01 p.m.
  • A person was arrested at 5:48 p.m. after violating a no-drink order at the corner of West Main and Clinton streets.
  • A burglary was reported at 8:11 p.m. in the 400 block of West Newhall Avenue.

Monday

  • A woman was arrested after she tried to use a counterfeit $20 bill at a bar at 12:40 a.m. in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A student was arrested for truancy at Waukesha West High School at 10:46 a.m.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at Waukesha North High School at 10:49 a.m.
  • A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 11:14 a.m. in the 1500 block of Tomhawk Lane.
  • A juvenile reportedly had a controlled substance at 11:40 a.m. at Waukesha West High School.
  • A man was arrested at gunpoint at 12:02 p.m. in the 2000 block of Norton Avenue after it was reported he was trying to burglarize his mother’s house. The mother advised police that her son was wanted for area burglaries.
  • An uncontrollable juvenile girl was arrested after she called 911 screaming that her mother cut off her hair at 12:27 p.m. in the 2000 block of Cardinal Drive.
  • A person was arrested for bail jumping at 3:22 p.m. in the 200 block of West Laflin Avenue.
  • A woman who created a disturbance at Sienna House on Sunday returned at 6:03 p.m. At least two people were arrested for disorderly conduct at the homeless shelter.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 6:48 p.m. in the 200 block of Hinman Avenue.
  • A town board supervisor holding a meeting in the City of Waukesha at 2109 Corporate Drive called police at 6:49 p.m. because two supervisors attended the meeting, which created a walking quorum. The supervisors provided invitations to the meeting to police, who were given options about how to file a complaint about a public meeting.

Tuesday

  • A person was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop at 2 a.m. at Fleetfoot Drive and Racine Avenue.
  • Police who were out with two people at 3:08 a.m. in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue got into a scuffle with the people after they started fighting with officers. Two people were arrested and two ambulances were requested – one for an officer with an injured hand. A mirror on a squad car was broken during the fight.
