Update: Suspect in Standoff Charged Monday
Mark G. Koenig remains jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Update, 5:52 p.m. Wednesday: A 48-year-old Waukesha man who held police on a standoff Sunday was officially charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday after getting into an altercation with his ex-wife and pulling a loaded compound bow at her and her boyfriend, according to court documents.
According to the criminal complaint, Mark G. Koenig ran up to his ex-wife and her boyfriend around midnight Sunday at their Summit residence with a loaded compound bow and began yelling at them. He then punched the boyfriend and fled in his car.
Koenig then came back to the residence later and entered it through a crawl space and filled a duffel bag with jewelry, clothing and pictures and left again, the complaint states.

The victim called police and Koenig was pulled over in Delafield, however, he then ran from the scene and eventually barricaded himself inside a Waukesha residence and refused to come out.
He’s charged with one count of disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon, one count of violating a domestic abuse injunction and one count of negligent handling of a weapon. If convicted he faces up to 21 months in prison and $12,000 in fines.

He’s currently being held in Waukesha County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
Earlier: The 48-year-old man who was arrested after was charged Monday in with three misdemeanors.
Mark G. Koenig was charged with disorderly conduct with dangerous use of a weapon, violating a domestic abuse injunction and endangering safety/use/dangerous weapon.
Koenig remains jailed in lieu of $10,000. He is ordered to have no contact with his estranged wife. The Waukesha Police Department’s call states the soon-to-be ex-wife reported that Koenig threatened her with an archery bow.
