Strange Behavior At Cousins Leads to Drug-Related Charge
Suspect had items on him to use heroin after employees suspected he was smoking marijuana in the bathroom and called police, according to criminal complaint.
A 24-year-old Hartland man is facing charges after he allegedly was caught in a Cousin’s Subs in Waukesha with items used to inject himself with heroin, according to a criminal complaint.
Calvin C. Lenz was charged in on Monday with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he could face up to 30 days in prison and $500 in fines.

Lenz was in the Cousin’s located at 2260 N. Grandview Blvd. on Friday when employees became suspicious of him wandering around the store. He went to the bathroom and one of the employees said it smelled like marijuana, so they called police.
Police found two syringes in Lenz’s pocket along with a device used for cooking up drugs. He said he uses the paraphernalia for heroin, but denied smoking marijuana in the bathroom of the store.

Lenz is free on a $500 signature bond while awaiting trial.
