Stevens Point Woman Killed in Sunday's Crash

Speed was a factor in an accident that killed a 25-year-old woman in Waukesha.

The 25-year-old woman killed in a crash early Sunday morning has been identified as Duab C.I. Xiong.

Xiong’s driver’s license says she is from Steven’s Point, according to Waukesha Police Capt. Ron Oremus.

Alcohol was not present at the scene but investigators are waiting on toxicology reports, Oremus said.

Speed was a factor in the accident. Xiong tried passing left of center and the car she was passing turned left into her, Oremus said.

The two cars crashed at 4:42 a.m. and one vehicle struck a tree in the 1100 block of East Moreland Boulevard.

The male driver of the other car was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
