Sexual Assault Allegations Come Forward Against Waukesha man

Suspect, 36, began touching the victim when she was just 5 years old, according to criminal complaint.

A 36-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting his own daughter on multiple occasions starting in 2005.

The man-who isn’t being identified by Patch in order to protect the identity of the victim, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with three counts of first degree sexual assault of a child. If convicted, he faces up to 180 years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim, who is now 11 years old, told investigators her father began sexually touching her about six years ago when she would visit him at his apartment in the 300 block of West Main Street.

The alleged victim told investigators the man would try to perform some sex acts when she was showering, the complaint states. She said she also found him watching pornographic movies and when she tried to cover her eyes, he moved her hand and forced her to watch them.

The suspect initially denied the claims when asked by investigators, but the complaint states he eventually admitted to sexually touching his daughter, however, he denied forcing her to watch pornography, saying she had caught him watching movies on several occasions.
