On Sept. 24, Waukesha police officers served a search warrant on a residence in the 1800 block of Shepherd Court while investigating Thomas Kopp, 24, of having child pornography. While in the home, officers found white powder in a bag, burnt aluminum strips and a bag of methamphetamine hidden inside a closet.

Fariss said Kopp is her son and the drugs are hers. She said she hid them in the closet when she learned her mother was coming for a visit.
