Sex in a Car; Selling a Hamster; Pizza Delivery Ticked at Snowball Throwers

Waukesha Police Department calls from Feb. 25 through Feb. 28.

Police bust sexual encounter

Police who stumbled upon a couple having sex in a car at 12:44 a.m. Thursday found a few other suspicious things in the 1600 block of Arcadian Avenue.

First, the man had a .13 percent blood alcohol concentration. And then officers located an unloaded weapon in the truck. They also found a biker’s vest with Outlaw MC patches on it; however, the individuals denied being in any motorcycle gangs.

At least he didn't sell his brother...

When a 15-year-old boy was grounded for selling a hamster without permission, his reaction wasn’t exactly the greatest.

Police were called to the 2800 block of Lander Lane at 3:15 p.m. Monday after it was reported the teen was yelling and banging things in his bedroom.

The teen was advised by police to follow house rules and “against making a mess out of anger.” The mother was also advised about giving her son realistic goals.

Pizza delivery driver annoyed at snow throwers

A ticked-off pizza delivery driver had enough Monday evening.

Three men described as being in their late teens or early 20s were reportedly on a roof throwing ice chunks at cars at 6:51 p.m. Monday. The pizza delivery driver contacted police after he was hit about three times while driving in the area.

Police investigated and found footprints leading to the roof of a building in the 300 block of East North Street. While the pizza delivery driver’s vehicle was not damaged, there were snow spatters found in the road.

Police advised the driver to contact them if the snow-wielding suspects went back on the roof.

WHY ARE bums CALLED HOMELESS PEOPLE nowadays is that so they can leech more off society by giving them a fancy title they are bums by choice and will remain bums until they do something for themselves TO HELP CHANGE THEIR status

The 1600 block of Arcadian seems like a hoot

@Tom
Bums by choice? Sp it is whitin their power to not be bums or homeless? So if one walked in to your business looking for work you would hire him? Reguardless of how they were dressed or smell? If they have no home they can't change or shower. Even if they wanted to recieve some type of government help they need an address to have it sent to.Sounds to me like the only way for what you call a "bum" to stop being one is for them to have help from another citizen. Since they obviously can't count on you. It will be be even harder for them to as you put it " Do something for themselves" You are not a very good humanitarian.

I am going to chime in here about the homeless man. I've lived here for 3-1/3 years and this particular fellow has been in and out of the police reports at least once a week. While I completely agree that all people should be treated with respect, this person has not taken the hand up that is available to him from organizations like The Hope Center. The help is there, the shelters are there for showers and shaving and changes of clothes. However, I've seen other situations – an 18-year-old boy dropped off at the Salvation Army on his birthday ... a man already volunteering with the homeless losing his job and having no place else to go. Thankfully places like the Hope Center have been there to help them find jobs and housing.

i feel very sorry for those who are so critical of homeless people. there is nobody on this earth who is free of that. you can go home any day or night - to no home. you can be 2-3 paychecks away from being jobless and homeless. you can hit with a traumatic life changing event at any moment > hit with depression, and find yourself looking elsewhere for fulfillment that will lengthen your depression. sometimes a mental health issue can be triggered and/or may not come to light until >>> a job loss, a death, losing home, divorce, or any other traumatic life event.
theres many who have suffered drugs, alcohol, mental health for years. WALK A DAY IN THEIR SHOES FIRST......

Thank you, Sarah for your empathetic comments. I just wanted to tell Tom he was an a**hole. I see many homeless people who are happy and grateful for a free meal, shower, change of clothes or a cot. On the other hand, I've seen people who have homes, cars, etc.who seem to always be looking for handouts and even complaining about free meals. I refuse to let those greedy people keep me from doing what I can for those in true need. God will be their judge

I agree that the folks at this Kwik Trip are great at assisting disabled people like myself but IRead More disagree that all Kwik Trips are helpful. There is a law that all gas stations are to assist you if you have disabled plates or a hanging placard if you press the help or disabled key on the pump. If there is no key (and I think all must have them by a certain date) then you are to honk horn twice and if there are at least 2 employees on duty, they are to assist. The K/T on St. Paul is useless. I've waited there, watching at least 3 employees mill around the counter with 1 or 2 customers and ingnore me. The Grandview station same but I haven't tried them in a few months. The worst station for that is whatever the one on St. Paul and Prarie is. I pulled in to see a female worker standing on side of building smoking. When she went in she was greeted by a male worker and I was ignored by both. I'd like to do a survey on how helpful each gas station is to the disabled. Kudos to Fleetfoot Kwik Trip! Whatever they got they should share with their brethren. I would rather give my $ to K/T because they are WI based and they donate regularly to the Salvation Army

I am fine with this service--its great. However being handicapped does not mean employees need toRead More give up their breaks or other customers need to let you cut in line in front of their service needs.
