Alba is accused of telling a female employee at the Waukesha Fire Department when he was assistant fire chief that she needed to resign because he was in love with her and he couldn’t focus on his job or the upcoming fire chief promotion process – or he would force her to leave when he was named chief, according to documents filed against the fire chief.

Meanwhile, city leaders are also seeking to oust one member of the Police and Fire Commission after the member, Dan Owens, was targeted in a theft investigation. Owens, who city leaders are accusing of stealing scrap metal while working for the city, has resigned from his position with the Department of Public Works.
